John Worsfold

John Worsfold is one of only three men – in the history of the game - to captain and coach the same AFL team to premiership glory!

The West Coast Eagles great played 209 games, was named twice in the All Australian team, won the Eagles Club Champion award and earned the title Best Clubman in 1993 and 1998.

Tough, determined and nicknamed “Captain Courageous”, John is one of Western Australia’s best known and most outstanding sporting personalities.

In 2013, after 26 years as a player and coach, John retired from the AFL to pursue challenges off the football field as a well-respected and in-demand leadership coach.

A graduate of Europe’s prestigious executive business school, INSEAD, John has undertaken intense personal development over the past 10 years.

He enjoys sharing his skills, knowledge and story with audiences across the country and also makes an active contribution to many boards and charities including The Shane Warne Foundation, the Australia Day Council and Save World Hunger Day as well as the Cancer Council, Hawaiian Ride for Youth and the Salvation Army.
